MATH 101 Exemption Exam

Exemption Exam from MATH 101 Calculus I :  

Students who start freshman year in spring semester and have not taken MATH 101 before and get at least 85 from MATH 101 Exemption Exam(*) will be exempted MATH 101. 

(*) MATH 101 Exemption Exam

MATH 101 Exemption Exam will be conducted on February 16, 2011 at 17:40 am in 1099 auditorium of Faculty of Management. The exam is similar to a typical final exam of the course and it is in English.

Textbook

”Calculus: Single and Multivariable”, 4th Edition, Hughes-Hallett, Gleason, McCallum et al.

Content of the Exemption Exam:

-Elementary functions (Chapter 1)

-Derivatives: definition, interpretation, computation and applications (Chapters 2, 3, 4)

-Integral: definition, interpretation and computation (Chapters 5, 6, 7)
