Foreign students taking HIST 191 and HIST 192

The FIRST English-language seminar will take place on Tuesday 6 November between 12:40 - 13:30 in FENS G032.

Adam McConnel, an SÜ PhD student in Turkish history, will present a seminar entitled,

"The Initial Era of Ottoman Modernization: Before and After the Tanzimat." 

This seminar will be especially relevant for foreign students in HIST 191,
but is also recommended for those foreign students taking HIST 192. 

Foreign faculty interested in learning more about Turkish history are also welcome to listen to the seminar.
