Students who fulfill the outlined requirements are entitled for exemption from “Freshman English I & II” (ENG 101-102) 

ENG 101- 102 Freshman English
Students are entitled for exemption
•    only from ENG 101, if they get a C-SL from the English Language Assesment Exam (ELAE January 2012) and at least 3 from one of "English Language and Composition" or "English Literature and Composition" sections in "Advanced Placement" (AP*)                   
•    only from ENG 101, if they get an A-SL from the English Language Assesment Exam (ELAE January 2012) and at least a B+ from the “Freshman English Exemption Exam (FEEE101**)
•    from both ENG 101 and ENG 102, if they get at least a C-SL from the English Language Assesment Exam (ELAE January 2012) and
o    At least a 5 from from IB (International Baccalaureate) English A2
o    At least a 10 from the ABITUR, English component
o    At least a “Good” from the MATURA, English component from the Austrian High School
