The practical implementation of Hybrid Education for the UCs, or our core curriculum, can be grouped under two distinct modes of teaching:

Model 1: Fully Online Courses
These courses are redesigned during the global pandemic to be taught entirely online. AL 102, TLL 101 and TLL 102 constitute some examples of such courses. Each course has different mechanics, and their major examinations would take place on-campus depending on the course structure.

Model 2: Hybrid / Blended Courses
These courses are redesigned during the global pandemic to be taught with new modes and methods of learning that make use of both the online and on-campus means. Each course employs a different rhythm and logic depending on the content, the structure, and the related fields of study. The attendance rulesets of our hybrid / blended courses could be categorized under three distinct groups:

a)    Designated Hours: These Hybrid / blended courses announce their students that they can attend on-campus during designated hours/components of the course each week. So, in this case, on-campus attendance rhythm/rotation ruleset is based on the class hours.

b)    Designated Weeks: These Hybrid/blended courses announce their students that they could attend on-campus during designated weeks. So, in this case, on-campus attendance rhythm/rotation ruleset is based on the weekly class schedule.

c)    Availability of Space: These Hybrid / blended courses announce their students that they could attend on-campus during all lecture hours. However, in this case, on-campus attendance rhythm/rotation ruleset is based on the availability of space. Don’t worry if the lecture hall is full due to socially distanced seat arrangement. There will be designated workspaces from which enables you to follow the classes online / synchronously.
